Injury assessments are provided for injury insurers, the legal profession and Rehabilitation Case Managers on single and joint instructions.

Assessments and reports are provided under the Rehabilitation Code and CPR Part 35 (Expert Witness).

Career Redirection Assessment

“Which careers may be suitable for an individual to consider following an injury or illness?”

Career Redirection Assessments identify alternative career paths for injured clients who are no longer able to work in their pre-injury role and provide detailed planning to progress the case to a positive outcome and aid a return to work.

The identified alternative careers are based on the client’s reported function, their employment and education history, transferable skills, interests and local labour market evaluation.

Each career option includes job tasks description, estimated salary, entry requirements, work function, physical job demands, local training options and examples of local vacancies.

Complete Functional Career Profile

“How to determine suitable jobs for an individual who has been permanently impaired following injury or illness, based on their assessed function?”

The Complete Functional Career Profile is a combination of Career Redirection and Functional Performance Screening, which enables us to recommend careers that are based on the client’s objectively measured function.

Each career option includes job tasks description, estimated salary, entry requirements, work function, physical job demands, local training options and examples of local vacancies.

We provide recommendations on suitability of the recommended career options based on the client’s evaluated functional abilities and limitations.

Functional Performance Screening

“What can the individual do? What abilities and limitations can be objectively determined following an injury or illness?”

Functional Performance Screening is used to objectively identify and evaluate both the abilities and the limitations of an individual who will likely experience functional impairment for the rest of their lives.

Functional Performance Screening provides an objective baseline measurement of physical abilities. The Screening can be used to evaluate an individual’s ability to meet the job demands for a specific role, or their suitability for alternative roles in general.

Functional Performance Screening identifies the job demands that are suited to the individual, as well as determining unsuitable tasks.
